Description
This piece took a couple of days and nights. I was walking home with Ninja the other night as we were coming home we talked about a lot of different things that have been weighing on my mind, one thing I appreciate about my partner is his view on being subjective to things based on actions and usual intentions, needless to say I had to shoot, the idea sprung into my head and a new character from my imagination series was brought to life. However there will be more images with this character coming up and this is further into the persona.
"Valentina" is a cat-like persona/character who is more than she appears, cuddling one of the things she holds dear to her. (This is actually my other kitten, Quiet, I've posted images with her sister Whisper on here before.) Having someone (or thing), rely on you, is taking on something bigger than yourself, it's not a child exactly, but when you have a hectic, busy life, the idea of children can be overwhelming, the concept of a "furkid" is no less terrifying or easy feat. This character is kind of a blend on my own take at raising my kittens into cats. Valentina is the personification of tarot major arcana card "The Star"(which will make sense in the next photo of the character), it is said in tarot that the Star is a card of hope, the hope personified (if you notice the left hand is bandaged), but the hope lies within the kitten as well.
